Palm Pre on O2 Around Christmas? 9

Last month we reported about Palm being close to the final stages of their European strategy and mentioned how Palm had hired Palm Ghent back in January to run sales for the European market. There remain only three main questions for the GSM flavored Pre: Which carrier, how much, and when?
Well, according to the Guardian, O2, the UK's largest mobile phone operator, might have knocked out its competitors Vodafone and Orange to get the exclusive on the Pre. The Guardian says that the Pre on O2 will be available in the UK in time for Christmas. O2 refused to comment (naturally). I look forward to hearing more on this.

Xmas is too late! GSM world needs the Pre sooner...

In France, the government ruled that exclusivity was illegal, (all carriers can market the iPhone now) so we're left with only two of those questions. Thus, I rephrase:
"How much, and MERDE when?"

Christmas??? You've got to be kidding me right? That's way too late. I was hoping for an early fall release at the latest, but Christmas...come on!
If that's really the case, I'm affraid I'll have to pass on the Pre and go for another phone :(
O2 is good, but Xmas??????? You have to be kidding me. We need it now.
Well thats that then. If its not here by the time the N900 comes out, bye bye Palm.
Plus do Palm sell these things sim free? This obsession with carrier exclusives is getting tiresome.
The GSM (3G) Pre cannot arrive soon enough. They really need to have it available on AT&T and T-Mobile. Then we will see which phone people pick (iPhone, Android, or Pre)
Typical Palm, December 2009 for Europe! on O2. As far i know O2 isn't available in many other Europe countries. Palm wanted to make the Pre big in Europe. Big fail!
If it means that O2 gets it in December( means always a few months later) then other carriers get it somewhere in 2010!
Damn you Palm, i said in the early beginning already when they announced the Pre that Palm would fail somewhere, and there you have it. Announcing a Phone for 2010. In 2010 the Pre won't be a big fuss here anymore and a major hit for the Pre here you can forget.

Palm you blew it!! Mistake #1, Sprint. Who wants to switch carriers for a phone, And of all carriers "Sprint". #2 No gsm phone from the start. Now you are telling me the gsm verson won't be out till December. That is the 3rd mistake.
