Palm Pre Release Date: Not April 56

Holding out hope that the Palm Pre will launch in April? We suppose there's still a chance, but Sprint's internal plans don't seem to account for it. Engadget Mobile [via MyPre and haydur in our forums] has posted up what appears to be a screengrab of Sprint's April roadmap, no Pre to be seen. We imagine that they'd be willing to change course if the Pre is ready sooner, but for now my throw-a-dart-pick-a-date guess of May 10th is starting to feel pretty good (if a bit optimistic?).

I think this will NEVER be on a leaked list or something. I think that whenever its ready, they will announce it for the next week or so imho. They (Palm & Sprint) are working on it, the minute they pass/fix all obstacles, they will announce it.
