“This is cool, is it new?” No, oh Hannah (Kristin Kreuk), that is not new. It’s the Palm Pre (with some fancy skinning). You call yourself a Nerd Herder? Okay, so maybe this season's episodes of Chuck were filmed several months ago (they were) when the Pre was still new, but that’s no excuse for a hot little geekette like yourself to not recognize a hot little smartphone like the Pre on sight. Unless you were commenting on the theme job, in which case, yes, that is new. Now put down the cool assassin smartphone and move along. After the break: the fancy pants ‘I’m an assassin’s smartphone’ theme.

No, the phone belonged to an assassin. Although the episode did have her assass.in a towel, if that helps.
I'm afraid you're mistaken, my friend. Chuck's special agent ally was the one in a towel (interesting note: he's played by Brandon Routh, who played Superman in Superman Returns; two actors formerly involved with the Superman franchise in one show on NBC, go figure). The assassin was in a t-shirt and jeans pretty much the whole ep.
Shaw was in a towel at the end of the episode, when Sarah came to visit him. Hanna was in a towel when Ellie, Chuck's sister, came to his apartment to talk to him and found Hanna in the shower instead.
OH, now I see what he did there. Her "ass-ass in" a towel. LOL

My wife and I both noticed this last night! Good stuff. But poor Kristin. All of her characters fall for the hero guy, and it never works out (Hannah/Lana).
this is the first palm sighting that I have bothered to look at 'after the break'. She was far too attractive for me not to investigate further! Ha ha I am pathetic... Oh well!

I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and say the "Phone" was spotted in bad guys hands and Precentral went with nicer pic.
I would love for Palm to be like, "hey wait, you guys. We invented the smartphone. Apple seems to be forgetting to pay us our licensing for the various (actually non-trivial) patents involved in such. They're going down." But that's just because I want to see David take down Goliath here, oh well.
I'm curious to see how this shakes down (and specifically, which of these nonsensically broad patents get tossed out by the judge)

yeah, definitely. I like what they're doing with his character. The whole "trying harder to be a better spy and that's alienating everyone" thread is pretty well done.
I do think that it's a bit jacked that he's ending up unhappy while Sarah is boning Superman. 8^(
