why not a media blitz? Does HP have any money to invest on the media? WOW! People have no idea of HP TouchPad! PRE 3!!!! They (MOST) never heard of it, not even myself & I purchased a TouchPad, gosh!

...I think your jumping the gun a bit. The device hasn't been launched on any carrier yet. HP is aggressively getting the device out they only way they can (carrier approvals take time). If this was like the Pre2 where it was launched on a french carrier then I would be scared, but this is just the quickest way to market (EU off carrier for some reason).
Did you want them to do an add blitz for that small piece of the pie (most would just be furious that they were not able to get one), or did you want them to intentionally put the brakes on? If they do a weak launch in the states like the Pre2 then we can get upset. For now patience.
Announcing the Pre3! No you can not have one, but these other people can!
Its like getting mad at Samsung becuase they are not advertising the Galaxy S2 in the states.

The worst marketing in the history of business has been done by Palm and now HP concerning Web OS.
No other product has been advertised as badly as Web OS. No matter what you say will not change that FACT!
Where did I say that they were aggressively marketing? I said that they have aggressively gotten devices out. Just because an Android phone comes out every three months does not mean that they are developed in three months. HP is surprisingly on track with what they said on Feb 9th (not that they should have said anything). After the Pre3 is released HP/palm will have released 3 devices (Pre2,Veer,and Pre3) since the iPhone4. I expect things to only get smoother and more predictable as HP settles in.
Pre 3 review!!! I know it's on your computer :) Post it up!
COULD you guys sound less excited about the 7" tablet.
So pre3 is launch and no review devices sent out? Sure signs of a stinker
*I think it is a little silly think that Google is looking at Rim and HP
and believe that these are good examples of integrated software and hardware.
Regardless this is the best hope webos/blacberry/wp7 have to compete for third place.
The question is who will be able to take advantage.
BTW TSD has some guts to recommend the veer to someone who listens to the p|c podcast or visits the website.
WHEN I THINK THINGS COULDN'T GET WORSE FOR WEB OS, another week proves me wrong!!!!!!
Again, HP is doing an excellent job showing the marketing world how NOT to market products and release them.
With the news of England not releasing the Pre 3, its all but DOA. I've called it DOA since it was announced...and then told us it would be 6 months....DOA!
So lets look down the list
