Taking a break from PalmCast Live was a nice idea and all, but we miss you, PalmCast listeners, and Derek, Keith, and Dieter can't help but want to have a chat about the news in the smartphone space, from the darndest things CEOs say to competition like the EVO 4G and iPhone 4.
We'll have lightning round action from Twitter, hit us with the #palmcast hashtag

Yeah, I'm dying to hear anything Palm, right now. Was listening to Opie & Anthony on SiriusXM & was saddened and nauseated with Anthony gushing about the IPhone & IPad. Opie was asking about other smartphones becuz of all the noise on the EVO & IPhone (He's a Blackberry fan) AND not one mention of HP/Palm. Even from callers trying to defend other platforms. It's like Palm or WebOS doesn't exist Even Nokia was mentioned. C'mon HP/Palm & Community, aren't you tired of being the red-headed step child of the Smartphone world?!

Sorry for being so passionate about this. I got my Pre in Dec & I've only seen 4 people including myself with a Pre. And I turned those 3 onto PreCentral.net & Palmcast. Those other phones have their merits & I'm not taking anything away from them. I just want the regular folks out there, 'the Fat Middle', to not say "Palm..what?" when I talk with them about my Pre.

after watching apple's WWDC I was wondering if Web OS multitasking is better than apple iOS multitasking. for example....when u go from one app to another can the first app keep running or is it always paused? can u play music, chat get ur mail run the gps ( get directions from at&t navigator for example) all at once or do the other apps pause while ur working on one.

In WebOS if you start loading a webpage and switch to go text someone, when you come back the page will be loaded. (Unless you have a poop connection)
