We know that a large number of you spend your Tuesdays anxiously awaiting your chance to watch us talk up webOS on PalmCast Live. We can't say we blame you, it's tons of fun.
We're going to take a little hiatus, though, and see what this whole 'outdoors' thing people keep mentioning is all about. We'll be back in a week or three, refreshed and rearing to go.
In the meantime, feel free to catch up on past shows you may have missed.

In other words the news is really really slow right now and you need time to let a few weeks of news pile up for a show
I can't say I'm against that. The past few shows have definitely been slow, with lots of speculation and little actual news. The boys and girl deserve a break, so I approve of this message.
Maybe they'll take the time to fix the "Page not found" errors I get on P|C about 40% of the time now when loading pages. Is anyone else getting these and with this much frequency???

Regardless of the reason, it's good to take a break sometimes. Though, if Palm comes out with something in the next hour or two, I bet the house they do a show tonight.
Ha ha it would have to be big news. Hopefully there will be some good news once they get back. Things have been seeming kind of glum in the webOS world of late.

Well,since it's a slow news week in Palm's land,it's seem more logical to take a break.I mean,what else there to talk about? more jokes between you guys like last week.The only news so far is Andriod,& Iphone HD.Anyway,hopefully soon Palm will release v.1.4.5,to give us something to talk about for a week or two.Maybe,Adobe 10.1 flash beta can drop soon & that will be a major topic.For now,the best thing to do take a break until we get some real Palm news.
Exactly. Plus the closer to the Palm HP deal we get hopefully more new will seep out. You guys do deserve a break and enjoy it!
They are busy waiting on line at Sprint for the June 4th Evo release. Seriously, I am glad the show has not been canceled all together. Shifting the site to more app centric articles is also a great move while the info is sparse. What would be cool is for an article on all the awards palm has won over the last 2 years.
Wow man,Andriod & Iphone HD has all the news for now. Evo 4G is dropping this friday,Iphone HD is dropping next week. I guess,Palm just waiting for things to cool down,before releasing any update,or providing some good news.
Don't forget iPhone Live on Wednesdays and iPad Live on Sundays ;)

BUT... The graphics are really high res, you won't run out of space, apps are usually pretty free and absolutely NO lag, plus 100% signal everywhere!!!!! Ah, the "outdoors". Pity I'm inside right now. :(

News has been slow so I can't say I blame you guys.
I was looking forward to the palmcast... oh well. You guys do deserve a break. Have an awesome sabbatical! Can't wait to tune in again :)
What happens if Palm drop a new update plus new hardware news in about 2 weeks? Will the palmcast come back than? But I'm not holding my breath I'll just read the reviews and news of the Evo and Iphone

Hopefully there is a hardware announcement soon. I'm assuming that they are probably trying to run out inventory on current phones and may not want to compete with iPhone and Android announcements but all of us who have had the Pre on Sprint that have Premier membership now qualify for new phones. The EVO looks awesome but the monthly "premium" data charge is ridiculous for those of us in non-4g areas that don't exceed 5gb cap. I digress...Palm needs to give me info on new hardware soon as the announcement won't mean squat if I've already gone with a different phone.
After last weeks palmcast they forsure need a week or 2 to get outside and have a few cold ones. There isn't anything really to talk about besides new apps or something. Maybe In a month or so palmcast will be up and running like crazy with news.
As much as I love watching the PreCentral guys talk about my favorite news, this couldn't have happened at a better time. It's finals week and there are books to be read, papers to be written, and tests to be studied for. I just don't have time to watch the palmcast. I can't wait to see it in a week...or three. Hopefully there will be some big news by then : )

well since there is no palmcast this week I just want to remind everyone of my "Buy an App" Day campaign, on the one year anniversary of the release of the Palm Pre.
