Palm Pre, caught in the wild

It’s been a hot minute since we last saw a Pre out in the wild, so it’s nice to see them out in the thick of it every now and then. The folks over at PreThinking got their hands on an in-the-wild photo of the Palm Pre. And even better, it’s not a blurry grainy camera phone photo. Granted, it was taken with an iPhone, but it’s better than what we’ve seen before. Looking at the screen, it appears to be booting, if the Palm logo (partially obscured by the reflection) is any indication. Pretty soon we won’t have to bother ourselves with these posts. Until then, feel free to be jealous of Mr. I Have a Pre and You Don’t.

Talk about sexy...

I know right..... I am gonna buy mine flowers and take it to dinner!!

Your talking about the phone or the arm?

Very Nice... wish I could have one.

Anonymous = Turd.

I just look forward to being able to take such clear and colorful pictures with my phone.

The 755p's camera is pretty raggedy in most conditions.

You're right it hasn't been proven, though the few hundred million that went into this is surely reassuring.

Here you go, here: http://blogs.barrons.com/techtraderdaily/2007/06/04/palm-elevation-takes...

325mil + 100mil = 425mil

Sure it didn't all go to the Pre alone but the Pre appears to be at the centre of the game.

15 phones is still speculation... There is no doubt Palm is playing there cards, forgive pun, close and with good reason. Ultimately you can't expect Palm to do a "52 pick-up", there will be questions unanswered, it's called business.

Nice arm

Yea the right hand of the end of the arm is his hand and the rest is his lower arm. Little harry though.

The news should not be a Pre seen in public, it should be that its interesting that we don't see more of them, there are probabely a few hundred units out there for the advocates.

I don't, maybe, but seriously it doesn't look that fat. Can't really say much until it's in my hand though.

Maybe the phone takes 5 hours to boot, and the guy turned it on from earlier in the day :p.
