Pre Release Date: Desperation Setting In 20

As noted in our Palm Pre Forums, some cat named "releasemypre" is doing up some videos demanding that Palm really and truly give us a release date.  It's some kind of viral and it's some kind of humor (the previous version had an in-apt 'joke-threat' that caused it to be taken down) and it gives us a little smile.

If it's Palm-sponsored viral marketing, we're feeling some desperation as the company runs out of things to tell us until the Pre gets released.  If it's genuine, well, yes, we're nearly as desperate and not just for the Pre itself anymore.  We just want a release date.  Seriously.

In any case, we aren't sure if this is the "Palm Pre Protest Guy" viral series that we know Palm was planning on releasing.  It could be, but it's really anyone's guess.  We're leaning towards "not."

Whatever the source, we agree with Eguy, every time Mr. Ski Mask hollers "PALM," we feel a connection to his mock rage.
