Is Clay Aiken still enough of a celebrity to warrant a Pre-Spotting post? PopEater's "Day in the Life" article doesn't mention it, but does he use his Pre to call up Justin Bieber (who prefers the Pixi) to ask which apps he should buy in the Half-Off App Sale? Will a post mentioning Clay Aiken and Justin Bieber and webOS cause a perfect storm of tweens buying out the rest of Verizon and Sprint overstock? Is your mind completely blown?

Eh...not a fan of Mr. Aiken...find his music annoying since they play it at my work all the time and I find it sub-par. While I find him annoying at best...a celebrity is a celebrity I suppose? lol

LOL, I learned to deal with Pre's shortcomings, but I just got back from creating a listing on Ebay after seeing this is Clay's phone of choice. Time to see if I can make this riverstone skip on a quiet pond!

That's what Palm should do, give Pre & Pixis to Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and all those disney stars so their fans would buy the same phone as the one of their idols.

just because the phone is slid open? Um I slide the phone open to talk on it too. Not because I have the slide closed to end calls patch (which I do not have,, inconvience to me) but because if you look at the design of your Palm Pre it's curved like that while open for a reason. It's more comfortable to talk on it open..

yeah, what's with all the freaking homophobia? I'm gay and I'm rocking the Pre. I could give a rat's @$$ about the iPhone as I've been a Palm devotee since the Treo 300... I really don't care who is seen with the phone as long as it's being seen. Nice to know that Clay has good taste in phones... Now if only we could work on that hair and his music... ;)

This is actually important news. Good job. Tween news, though seemingly shallow, inconsequential and cryptic, is like nitroglycerin for marketing and supply chains. Stuff like this could unexpectedly cause a significant revenue spike and Palm could be rolling their eyes and sighing all the way to the bank. I wonder if this will finally spark Conan O'Brien to get one. He's been battling Bieber on Twitter for awhile now. I want to see a fight.
