So June 6th is the Pre's 1-year birthday and #webOSAppDay, but tomorrow holds another notable event, preDevCamp Baltimore. We're betting that @ACarback won't mind a late registrant or two - register at http://bit.ly/webosBaltimore.
The event will focus on developing apps for webOS and feature Frank Zammetti and Palm's own Ben Combee giving talks on developing regular and PDK apps, respectively. We're also told there will be cake (no lie) and door prizes. If you're near the Baltimore area tomorrow, be sure to register!

I would love to go to that and I was planning on going to Baltimore this summer, but it's to late to buy a plane ticket to fly that far. (It would be to dang expensive). If I had only know this a few months ago.....
If anyone does go I will recommend this restaurant. http://www.phillipsseafood.com/index.cfm?page=menus&id=8
BEST SEAFOOD I'VE EVER HAD!
I wonder what the turnout would be...
I love Portal! I love WebOS!
The amount of help, support, and donations I've gotten is amazing. This community rocks!
I'll be coming up from Virginia. I cant wait!
Do Palm work with developers outside of the US? There are some fantastic apps written by UK firms for the iPhone, Android and BB . If you contact these people they say they are not looking at webos but may do in the future. This pretty much tells you that they won't be doing so.
Palm should look at getting other countries involved with these type of things and hold a European Developer summit and invite some of the big devs from Europe to get involved.
That sounds like a good idea. Palm definitely needs to exhaust all resources. And I'm sure there are some good one abroad!
