Yeah! Let's hope this is real and it has at least a 3.8 inch screen, and that it comes to Sprint with WiMax!

Drool? Really? Did you think that leaked photo was of a good looking device, or is it just excitement over a slab device? I personally can't wait to see a slab form factor, not for myself, but for the webOS ecosystem. But the device in that pic was fugly. And cracked to boot.
It's a keyboardless webOS phone ... aka the stingray. Click the link for the leak and wait 6 months to find out if it's real.

I thought the Pre was riding along with the Stingray, and the Stingray is saying "I don't need no stinking keyboard."

It could be a tablet but the lines behind the device look a lot like tree lines too (ie it;s on a desk that is made out wood). Just a guess, but I like your theory too.
That's all it is at this point, hope. You're setting people up to expect this thing and when it doesn't happen they'll get even more disappointed. Great job on that one, PreCentral.
Are you really chastising P|C for reporting what they've been tipped off about? This is exactly the kind of stuff that I would expect them to post about. Would you complain if Engadget/Gizmodo/BGR posted a blurrycam picture of a heretofore unannounced device?
For reporting a rumor as something that we will actually be seeing. It would've been fine if they just reported it as a rumor, but a lot of people are believing it, and they will be disappointed.
The thing was turned off and we didn't even see it running webOS for crying out loud!
Yeah...I'm still waiting for a clearer image of Bigfoot using the new smaller webOS tablet...which in his huge hands makes it look even smaller...which I think is not a good marketing ploy. I mean, is it the new stingray tablet, or is it the Pre3...or a new slab webOS phone...I'm so angry...oh, and disappointed! ;)
In all seriousness...I mean, with some semblance of seriousness, the pre-doodle is fun, and generates some excitement. I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about it. Some people will get disappointed about the smallest tablet, I mean thing, no matter how they hear about it.

Ha! Good one! Thank you for kindly helping my point! I saw a shirt on WOOT the other day. The title of the shirt was 'meh' and it had the image of a thumb (envision the thumbs on the bottom right of our posts here) but instead of pointing up or down, it pointed left...or maybe right...can't remember. I thought it was...ok.
