I thought this question was really weird in the survey. Sheesh, talk about probing.

So sad to see webOS die, its being reincarnated as ice cream sandwich. All ICS needs is synergy like webOS to link contacts. So I would say I wanna be friends but suddenly wont see you for long periods of time. I know what a sad friend..
A lot of Synergy elements are intact in Gingerbread. I still run Gingerbread side-by-side with 1.45 and I push the Pre open less and less every day. My expectation that copycats would replicate WebOS faster than WebOS got traction is playing out nicely with ICS.
NO! Not until you give me back my webOS!
you should have waited un till Christmas and put a few new updates in, then will always be Ur friend
NO!
Where's the IF YOU MAKE A TOUCHPAD2 NOW option?
Not if no new phones come from this. Thats the deal breaker "friend."
Well,....what will be 'in it' for me?
...and only if webOS lives!
Somebody's listening to Todd Rundgren again.
now that song is stuck in my head!
"We can't play this game anymore, but
Can we still be friends?
Things just can't go on like before, but
Can we still be friends?"
:-(
No, when a deep love betrays you, you must move on.
A real friend don't leave when it gets tough. So I will stay a little longer, although you make it quite clear you want to be alone.
Well, actually it is more for the sake of my pre 3 and envy...
I'm new to webOS with the purchase of my touchpad a few weeks ago. It is awesome. With some dedicated refinement and more apps this would be a superior product. Its almost like network tv when they kill a good show without giving it a real chance.
Revive. Refine. Enhance. Price right. It will sell
That's what I thought about the Pre on it's release 2 1/2 years ago.
Ditto on mpyfer's comment. Seems WebOS is like OS/2 and Novell. They were superior products to Microsoft but suffered from poor marketing. I never knew how really great WebOS was until they made me an offer I couldn't refuse (fire sale $149.99). I've personally emailed several software companies to develop WebOS apps (RealVNC, Netflix, GoToMyPC and several of the more popular iPhone/Pad game developers). I actually received a couple of replies saying that since HOw decision to stop making WebOS devices they could not justify spending the resources to develop WebOS apps.
I'm no accounting/tax expert but any money HP has lost fire selling the Touchpad should be written off as marketing/advertising. Of the 7 people in my office that purchase the fire sale TP, ALL of them share the same sentiments of mpyfer.

I'm supporting webOS as usual. Wheather I'd buy HP again depends on what Meg does next, especially what she does with the webOS employees.
I get a tiny feeling that she is trying to undo most of the idiotic decisions Looney Leo made.
That question was not in MY survey.
If they started releasing great products in line with the rest of the market, delivered on their promised updates to those devices over a period of time, and brought their cloud strategy in line with what I, as a consumer want, and kept the UI experience of the device superior to everything else, and did that for at least a year or two, I could be friends again.
But until then, I'll be waiting for them on android.
Hi Derek, so how many people already filled in the survey? Did you inform HP about this collection of feedback ?
