Well... there's a typo in the headline. "PreDoode" is a nice variant I guess. Missing the "l." BTW, enjoy these illustrations a lot!

This is all becoming moot for me - since I have basically given up on Palm. 18 months to replace fundamentally flawed hardware, with no assurance that a new device will even be offered on Sprint, means a lack of commitment in my book.

WebOS is superior to Android, but Android is perfectly serviceable. Without firm and detailed hardware and software commitments from HP/Palm very soon, Evo here I come.

don't blame ya - bet on it looking pretty much the same cept for a glass front, a more square bezel, thicker, and heavier. My initial thought is that it looked very rugged - maybe a bit more rugged than polished looking than i prefer but i'm looking forward to replacing my original.

I get confused and a bit annoyed sometimes that every time there is a new topic on here, those that are leaving keep posting to let us know they are leaving and to what phone they are getting.

Ok we get it webOS and the current phone range as it stands is not for you right now, fair enough, each to their own, but why come on a forum and tell those that are staying with webOS you are leaving. Would it not make sense to join the new forum of the phone/operating system you are going too and enjoy your new device?

After all the negativity about an updated Pre, I'm glad to see that this updated Pre is looking pretty happy and is not too depressed that so many people keep calling him a mere "spec bump."

Hopefully this updated Super Pre finds his way out of the castle and into a Sprint store near me in the very near future!

The castle has mirror-image musical "notes" built into its shape, and the king appears to be holding a camera and headphones. And all the naysayers here seem to not care about that "2", which stands for the OS, no doubt. OK, the web os.
What else do you see?
If all of those things are significant, this is not a piddling release.

i believe the flags at the top of the 4 towers represent 4 international markets/carriers... possibly hinting at a multitude of cell/3g/4g/wireless radio technologies
