getting developers to make programs in webos first and then port them to ios and android. is a good and big bet. see, this is what they should have done before. took thier time to get the touchpad and pre3 just right. BUT the Open webos name may have to go. Enyo 1.0 will stick i think?
And lastly Every webOS device from sprint Pre on up... better have open webos 1.0 fully working. It is the only way for HP to restore customer confidence (even apple had ios 1.0 - 3.12 on the iphone/ipod touch 1G)

So neither Palm nor HP could convince developers in significant numbers to develop for the platform but somehow this will magically change all of that and developers will decide "hey, I'll develop for webOS first and then port to Android and iOS"?
Isn't this the platform that specialized in begging developers who develop for iOS first to port their stuff over to webOS? Now it will be the other way around?

...to a non-Palm device near you!
The Pre Phoenix! Coming fall 2012!
seriously? Where can I find info on that?
It's all about Open webOS 1.0 coming this fall.
The Palm C40!!!!
Doesn't "pre phoenix" indicate the dead period?

How's the weather in webOS land?
Same as any other land during an ice age.
