The decision is made. The decision is NOT TO SELL webOS and since that is the decision, it will not be made publicly.
Remember when everyone and their brother said that Sprint was not going to carry the Pre 3 and everyone wanted an announcement? Did we get one? No, no announcement meant no carrying.
Companies are not going to announce that they are NOT going to do something that would cause investors to see this as a loss of potential revenue.
They've already said they will keep it, they've already said they will continue development, they've already said they will look for other ways in which to use it -- what is the advantage to them saying they are not going to sell it?

So sad :(
Great! :D
at this point i think it hp would be better off giving it sony, htc, samsung, rim, etc and then taking 10% of the profit they made on it in a year.
"webos for sale" in Spanish is very vulgar. But not as vulgar as the idea of no one buying it!

HP and the Legend of webOS has ceased to make sense.
