I never said it was stylish or ideal... but if it is Apple's only solution outside of a product recall/repair...
It would be nice just to see Apple take ownership of the issue and not pass it off to the consumer.
Perhaps that will happen today at their press conference.
Meanwhile I am content to sit back and watch the mayham.
Just waiting for HP to announce some new hardware and the tablet... preferably to arrive in time for Christmas!
Ha, but at least Palm fixed the problem in future shipments instead of blaming the consumer. I have a Sprint Pre from February and haven't seen a hint of the Oreo effect, or any other hardware issue, really. Here's to hoping Apple's hubris finally catches up with them.
Hold on a second. I thought the Pre's right hand was the iPhone's right hand ... looking it in that light, the iPhone is giving the Pre the finger... :-(

Apple just needs to "Man-Up" and offer everyone a free black rubber band to fix their phone...
I mean really... $30 for a black rubber band?
New iPhone - $200 (on contract)
Black Rubber Band - $30
Seeing the Apple "Halo Effect" dim - Priceless
Having WebOS - Wonderful!

Yeah. Black rubber bands are aesthetic.

Well in fairness, that took about a month to fix, and the iphone 4 hasn't been out a month. We will find out today I suppose.
Never had it so bite my shiny metal ass, as bender would have said =)
"Autoerotic Asphyxiation ... there's an app for that!
lol.. Is that the app David Carradine was using in Thailand? Figures Apple would have an app that would thin out the heard.....

That was my first impression as well. Had to look twice to "get it".
