Pricing Plans, NES Emulators, Pictures of the Palm Lounge and More ...From the Forums 8

Here's some of the what's being discussed in the forums:
- CES may be last week's news, but the tech press weren't the only ones there, and PreCentral reader mrkalel snapped some sweet pictures of the Palm lounge and the new Pre and Pixi Plus.
- The Smartphone Round Robin is in its fourth week, and Nokia Expert's Matthew Miller has a thread asking all about webOS. Pop in and let him know what you think, and remember: there's always the possibility of winning the webOS powered phone of your dreams.
- Wondering about NES emulation on your Pre or Pixi? We know that there are instructions on how to get it up and running over at webOS Internals, and now KalemSoft is talking about their latest offering in the webOS Apps and Software forums that requires 100% less rooting.
- From time to time the Pre is known to get stuck in headset mode, and user Syphon has discovered a quick and easy fix to get things back to normal
- Thrifty folks are comparing Sprint and Verizon smartphone plans as the release of the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus rapidly approaches, and forum member ksom wonders if the the extra RAM and storage of the Pre Plus justifies Big Red's more expensive plans
- So, you've got your new Pre and you're wondering how to protect your new investment. Good news: Hook_em has a glowing review of the Seidio Innocase in the accessory forum, summarizing "In my experience, the Innocase definitely increased the 'feel' of the phone regarding build quality"
We look forward to seeing you in the forums!

The Nintendo Emulator looks really promising Nesem makers! you can count me in once you solve all the problems. I have no problems paying 10 bucks for this if all the bugs are worked out.
BTW...for your info...you can check out The Androids version nesoid and snesoid. They managed to get them working flawlessly so I have no doubt in time you will.
They offer theirs for I think its like 4.99 or maybe 5.99 or something like that as an app you can purchase so I have no doubt you could turn this into an App.
Keep up the good work and you have a guaranteed customer. (just work out the speed issues, the sound issues, and any bugs...:))
woooow, I just love my pre

Ok, at first I was like 'oh great, Spam'. But your MySpace page actually has a nice collection of links to WebOS related videos. You might want to mention that rather than just posting the URL.
edit: yikes, I didn't scroll down all the way. You've got some racy content going on. Others, consider yourselves warned.
coolbeans :)
WARNING: Perhaps it was coincidence BUT when I opened the link to the photos from CES my PC was seized by a virus. I apologize in advance if this was coincidental.
Hey does any1 know how valid or true is this leak?

They stating the prices for the pre and pixi on verizon....
"[I][B]It was cool that Palm announced the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are coming to Verizon at this year
i work for verizon and as of yesterday, prices still havent been posted for us. so i cannot confirm if they are correct or not.
sadly enough, even though i work for verizon, i will never use them as a carrier. ive had sprint for almost 5 years, and contrary to their reputation i have had nothing but A+ customer service and have had zero problems with coverage or equipment. hell, when i got my pre, i had just called and inquired if it were possible to get it before my upgrade date. not only did they do it willingly with no pushback or catches, but they also waived my upgrade fee, and the shipping. ive had no problems with my pre, still on the very first one, and am glad i chose it over the overrated iphone or the dreadfully horrid blackberry storm.
with all the new and exciting stuff coming out for the pre/pixi, i forsee a bright future for palm and webos.
