Description

Proxify is an app that's using HP's API to set proxies on webOS. It has a list to select proxies and an option to add new proxies. Keep in mind not every app will be using your set proxy. That is something that is up to HP to deal with.

Proxify has been successfully tested with the TouchPad emulator, Pre 3 emulator and Pre 3 device.

It's not working on the touchpad..

It does work on my Pre3.

ssrk_2005 - did you double check the proxy address and port?

What app did you use to test it? Web browser? Did you try a web site that you can access from other computers within the proxied network?

With the Preware app "What Is My IP?" you can check if you have been supplied with an IP from DHCP.

And Pre2/3 owners can toggle 3G Data connection with the "Data in Device Menu" patch. With this you can make sure that you surf via Wifi and not your provider network.

I downloaded Proxify on my TouchPad via Preware. It didn't work, so I deleted it by holding down the icon and pressing x. Now I have no Internet at all. I tried to reinstall Proxify via WebOS Quick Install, but the package is apparently corrupted... How can I remove the Proxy?

Just to clarify, I have no access to anything on WiFi. Local works fine.

Great Application. I was able to get everything working on my touchpad for all three of my different proxy servers.

Need to be updated for the changes in the 3.0.4 WEBOS release.

I can't wait to be able to use it again.

This was working great on my TouchPad before I updated to 3.0.4. It doesn't work now. Is there an update coming for it?
