ProxySwitch is a simple app to switch on and off system wide proxy support for the HP Touchpad (it may work for other platforms as well, but hasn't been tested yet.)

several people have reported username/password working when you enter USERNAME:PASSWORD@PROXY_URL into the proxy url text field.

worked great until I updated to 3.0.4. Now when I try to turn on proxy I just get an error. returnValue false errorcode 1 errortext error saving proxy configuration proxy guid 0

I hope this helps sort out the issue.

I've just submitted an update, which fixes the issue with 3.0.4.
