Quickly access the last picture/video taken 12

by Adam Marks Mon, 20 Sep 2010 1:11 pm EDT

Camera App After you take a picture or video, you can quickly access your Photo Roll (for last photo) or Video Roll (for last video) directly from within the camera/camcorder app. After you snap your picture/video, you will see a thumbnail of it on the bottom left of the screen. All you need to do is tap on that thumbnail and your picture/video will be loaded up. At that point, you can swipe back to return to the camera/camcorder, or if you are looking at a picture, you can swipe left or right on the picture to browse through the pictures in your Photo Roll.

You can also use the space bar to take pictures. Not only can this be easier to use (particularly when taking pictures of yourself), it basically works as fast as you want ... so no waiting for the green button to appear. Hit space whenever you want

I love tips and all. But this one was really too simple. I'd have to wonder if a person has never used a phone before if they didn't already know this.

believe it or not, but I wrote this specifically because I was talking to someone last week with a Pre who didn't know this!!! So, figured that it couldn't hurt to put this in as a tip.

lol yeah. Quickly.

Like there's any "quick" with the camera.

Like there is anything on this phone that is "quick". I love it but it's soooo slow!

Use UberKernel with screenstate (upper boundary >= 800 MHz) and it's not that bad. Camera still sucks, however.

phone is slow. run UK. wont regret it.

lol @ "quick"
if there is anything that isn't quick it's the camera app, esp. the feature speficially highlighted in this tip. It's one of the most infurating aspects of the Pre. aint nothing worse than wanting to take a quick pic of something you see & the cam app freezes on you & the moment is gone.

To speak with someone, hold your Pre up to your head, open mouth and make words come out.

+1

Does anyone know how to make the camera show the photo you just took in full screen mode right after taking it without having to open the photos app--you know, the way digital cameras do it? I hate having to tap that little icon and wait to see how the photo turned out and whether or not I should retake it etc. Thanks!
