Real Tennis on sale for $0.99, €0.99 35

Real Tennis

We always like getting in on good stuff for cheap, and Gameloft is giving us a chance to do that with some sweet PDK action. Their game, Real Tennis, is on sale for 99% of a standard currency unit worldwide, retailing for $0.99 in the US of A and €0.99 across the Atlantic in all European countries currently serviced by Palm. The sale’s only good for a few days, so if you’ve got ninety nine hundredths of your local currency to spend, this is certainly one place we’d certainly recommend looking.

Thanks to Germansurfer for the tip!

And

On-screen d-pad games are simply not fun, in my opinion.

Especially on a 3.1" screen.

I just tried downloading (on VZW) and it said it wasn't available in my region....WTF mate?

Weird, I relaunched the App Catalog and it worked fine.

this is the first app i bought, you can't go wrong for 79pence, worth every penny.

smart move by gameloft. undersell, so your product makes the win in the $1,000,000 giveaway. Make it all back on the prize and get popularity!

PDK-based games are not eligible for the contest. So none of Gameloft's games can participate.

its nice to see the $ and the

at least Derek is certain about looking at it. That pretty much certifies it, right there. Now if I only had my credit card, I'd probably buy it.

Thanks for the heads up. I just made the purchase.

that blows. I paid too much for this game and I wasn't happy with it. My guy runs off too much and it doesn't save properly so unless it gets an update soon its still not worth it.

also. I like games but I'm never paying for an app unless I get demo's...

Just bought my copy! Good price... Good cause... LOL

"if you

This is great! Thanks for the heads up and thanks to Gameloft! My only concern is if I'll be able to actually play it. I can't run any of the free versions of their games. I haven't been able to run Gangstar at all, but I was able to run both Assassin's Creed and Glyder 2 just once each. Reinstalled and restarted with no luck. Always with the "Too Many Cards" when i have none. Maybe I'll just give in and buy it anyways, I can always just stare at the nice icon.

Hopefully a boatload of folks will purchase it and Gameloft will see its advantageous of them to have a lower pricing structure.

A solid game at a great price. It is not perfect (some control issues), but it is still a great value at 99 cents! Thanks Gameloft!

My first game purchase. It is fun fun! Will keep me occupied during down time. An easy purchase decision.

thanks for the heads up spent 99 cents :)

I actually found it surprisingly hard to play well. I had trouble driving the ball hard and low and also don't get a quick enough response when trying to move the player...then he/she goes too far. Bleh

lmao @ $.99 i just HAD to download this... :)

We just passed parity today... so I'm actually paying more with Canadian... lol

Ha ha I bought the game today, but like someone said on here already my guy keeps running off. Cool game, but there are some glitches. I wonder if its only on the Pre and if on the iphone the guy doesn't head to the stands every other point. Good times...

Nice game, just installed it..

You must be kidding, Gameloft. Game doesn't start on Palm Pre with WebOS 1.4.1, but shows too-many-cards every time I try to start the game, even though there are no cards open! I want my money back, all 99 cents!

Have they copied their tactic from Apple? They always like to price their products the same in

You charge for the economy. A banana costs more in the US than it does in Argentina, right?

I live in

If you have the "too many cards" error, consider installing the 800mHz kernel. My 3D games run MUCH faster since installing the patch. And with the 150 --> 800 scaling (using a launch day Pre here, but your mileage may vary) the battery life is also quite good.

thx for the heads-up. just bought it.

good game, and good price. nice gesture by gameloft.

Hey Eurolanders, I will sell you my version for .98 euros...

Very captivating circumstance, but still this argument is to not an easy task to considerate. That is why we have managed to create a custom writing service to help hopeful students. They can buy college custom term paper that is custom and made by professional , buy persuasive essay or even buy written research paper. But when students use this kind of business

Some employees really need cv help for presenting them just in the way they should be presented. And good job-offer will not make wait them any more.

when will this "too many cards open" error be fixed?? I can't play any of these games without restarting my phone. Goes to show how lazy palm is. If the too many cards error doesn't get fixed by the next update I'm gonna get an iphone. At least apple cares about there customers.

ps. I made a pre central account 5 minutes ago and this is my first ever comment =)
