Rename Launcher Pages [webOS 2.x] 4

by Adam Marks Wed, 06 Apr 2011 9:13 pm EDT

This tip is only for devices running webOS 2.0 and higher

With the redesigned Launcher in webOS 2.0, you can now provide a name for each of your Launcher pages.  In order to name (or rename) a launcher page, just navigate to that launcher page, swipe down from the top-left corner of the screen to bring down the Launcher Application drop-down and select "Rename Launcher Page".  The page's name will be highlighted, indicating that you are in edit mode.  Simply type in your preferred name for the page and press the Enter Key () when done.

You can also simply press-and-hold on the name of a Launcher Page to enter edit mode (Thanks to BaddestCross for adding this in the comments)

You can also tap-and-hold the title of the page to activate the editing.

Thanks! (and updated!)

Sarcasm alert...

I really glad Palm didn't provide an update with this feature for my Sprint Pre- as everyone knows it doesn't have the CPU horsepower to do this. :-|

Yeah, this launcher is probably what slows down my doctored Sprint pre- ... Is there a patch to remove the editing capability? :)
