German blog webOS-Blog (Google translate link for those of you who don't read German) has it on good word from Vodafone employees that the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus will be priced at € 579.90 and € 399.90 respectively without contract and for as little as € 149.90 and € 49.90 respectively when purchased on contract . I love my Pre & WebOS but Palm needs to face the fact that the Pre (& Plus) are old news. If they are banking on the Pre to pull them out of the hole they are in , they are living in a dream world. Palm must get new hardware out that is comparable to the other offerings in the market. I don't see why anyone would spend this much cash on a year-old device.
Nope, they must work with what they have. They cannot afford to offer new models every 3 months.
Then it won't work. They over produced a product nobody wanted. Hanging on to it will only compound their problem. I'm not trying to bash them, I love webOS, but the Pre is inferior hardware now. They must get webOS on a device with enough horsepower to make it shine.

Thats because on ebay you can get palm pre from dealer new and unlocked for 340 eur, while pixi plus should cost 400....
