Description
SeriesAddict is a simple way to keep track of the episodes you already watched, or discover informations about new episodes.
It simply allow you to manage tv shows.
It is very alpha state for now, so test it at yout own risks. (for example shows update is still wip)
I would be happy to hear your suggestions to improve it !

Excelent application, I like it, but it needs a little more work for a Pre3. (version 0.9.0, Pre3 v2.2.4)
1. The icon does not show up on the desktop, only the App name.
2. The Add a show screen seems larger (top to bottom) for the Pre3, the cancel button is cut in half.
3. In the windows where one maks the episodes already seen, "Mark as Watched" is misleading. At first I thought it was like a "Save" button and ended up marking all the episodes as watched, it is not what I wanted to do.
I think it needs more options
-Save (redundant, I know but useful to stablish a difference against the other options).
-Mark all as watched (make it clear we are marking all of them)
-Unmark all as watched.
-Cancel (in case you want to go back to the state before you invoked this windows.

- I'm aware that there is no icon, the app is open source, so if someone want to contribute an icon it would be great ;)
- I know it works on pre 3, but for now it is not my priority. I'd rather have the touchpad version ready and then, i'll pay attentions to pre 3 issues. (i thought of making a very pre 3 friendly release at some point with sync between touchpad and pre app)
- I'll take your suggestions in consideration, mark as watched is confusing to me too.

Many thanks for doing it. Runs on my pre3 and after inserting
(in case the code isn't shown correctly: it's device-height tip for pre3 postet here earlier) in index.html the lower border is shown correctly.Adding some series i was blast off coz they were titled and described in my native Pre3 language german. 3 thumbs up for that.
A few ideas:
-multiple profiles e.g. my wife is watching other shows or is ahead on watching.
-then series icons are good but i would prefer a subtitle with the name for better readability also on the season icons.
-on my pre3 in portait view i cannot see the episode plot area, only in landscape view.
-i found also a bug i believe. when single selecting episodes to be watched, somehow randomly an episode before or before that is deselected.
thats from me so far i hope i have been of any help. and i am begging you please keep up the great work you did.
for i am an enormous seriesjunkie and with this app you made a dream come true to me and my pre3. also i would love to pay for it and certainly will do if you are going to put it in the app catalog. ...and may the force be with you..always

Yep, the app was designed to use the locale of the device when retrieving series info !
- Mutliple profile is an excellent idea, just need to improve some the way they are stored in database, same goes for series images. Else it will take a lot of storage space.
- Had been working on adding some text on the images, but i need to figire out how to make this looks good and snappy with css ;)
- Like i said before, the app was not designed for the pre 3, but it will in the future. For now it will stay like this, because we need a specific design for phone devices and i would rather finish the basis of the touchpad one first.
- This is a know bug, it seems to be related to an enyo bug, but since enyo 1.0 is never gonna get fixed, i'm working on a workaround !
Many thanks for yout comment, a paid version will come to the app catalog for those who want to support the project (but hey ! it's open source, so you will alway be able to get it for free). I'm still wondering, should i post the stable version on the app catalog and a less stable beta version with new features in preware ?

Data come from thetvdb.com, which is an open source tv shows database ;)

Great concept! No problems on my TouchPad so far.
The only thing I'd love to see would be a "saved" or "acquired" checkbox. I have a few series I'm auto-recording on my dvr, but I don't want to watch them until I get the earlier episodes. It would be great to have a way to keep track of those. Thanks!

Great app! Any chance of being able to sort how shows are displayed based on Title and/or # of episodes watched? I can't figure out how display order is currently determined. It seems almost random.
For now shows are sorted alphabetically, but i agree, some filter would be nice !
Thanks for this. It's a nice, simple app - maybe a bit too simple with the blank startup page and no indication of how to proceed. I naturally entered a show title in the Search box first and hit Enter, which produces.a spinning circle, apparently searching forever. I then guessed that the Search box is to be used for searching for series that you have already added, and I should have tapped the Add icon first (incidentally, the spinning circle doesn't go away until the program closes, even if series are subsequently added successfully).
One of the first few series I added was incomplete (only 2 out of 3 seasons listed), but it was complete on tvdb.com when I checked there. How could that happen? Isn't that where the data comes from?

Great app. Would be good if you could use with trakt.tv to check in shows, add to collection etc.
