Set focus area on the Pre3 camera 8

This tip is only for Pre3 devices
With the addition of an auto-focus camera on the Pre3 (finally!), you now have the ability to position the focus point for the camera instead of relying only on the center-point . With the camera viewfinder activate, just tap anywhere on the screen and you will see the focal crosshair will reposition on the screen. This will remain for approximately 7 seconds for you to take a picture before reverting back to the center. If you didn't get the shot in time, reposition the focal point again and wait for the camera to focus again.

I frickin' love my Pre3!
I figure this out since day one
I pondered for a while, do I buy one off e-bay. I did and love it. This should have been Palm's first offering. I also own a WP7 HD7. When I switch back and forth I miss the Pre3 more. I must say though the HD7 has a better camera. I own a touchpad also. If HP goes Windows I doubt I will follow.
That's great, now all we need is a Pre 3!
We all got ours already... you still didn't?
Loving my AT&T unreleased Pre 3 on Bell.
I'm a newcomer. I had one HanSpring Treo 180 something like 11 years ago. Since then I've had a few Windows Mobile devices, then Android and a few weeks ago I finally got one Pre3 (mainly due to the TouchPad I also purchased) and I'm lovin it too. I only wish it was a little larger like my previous 3 HTC devices.
I have a pre3 as well, and love it but how do you do macro shots on the pre3.
Does anybody know, on my Samsung Galaxy S2 i can zoom in on picture before i take the picture, can the pre3 do this as i havent been able to do that before i take the picture.
Thanks.
Been with Sprint for about 12 years now... is the Pre3 enough of a reason to switch carriers? Or is a FrankenPre2 a better strategy for now while HP figures out which is their butt, and which is a hole in the ground?
