On the one hand, I kinda feel you on that.
But on the other... I want to know something about the market, outside of Palm's products, because 1) I have family members who have or are considering some of these other phones (and they want/need my input) and 2) if/when Palm screws up for good, I want to have a clue about the other available smartphone options.
So, it helps to dip my toe in other people's pools, once in a while.
