Spaz Hackathon, part 2, going down April 21, Pre 2s up for grabs 1
If you’re like us and heart you some open source community development, then you’ll be glad to heart that the next Spaz Hackathon has been scheduled. It’ll be taking place live and in person the evening of April 21 at the PHP Community Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of a mass social tech hackathon sponsored by cloud communications API maker Tropo. If you’re not able to make it to Nashville, the Spaz Hackathon will be taking place live on the internet as well, so long as you’re comfortable with IRC.
The hackathon to upgrade the open source Twitter client Spaz will allow for code contributions in five areas: the SpazCore JavaScript libraries, the Spaz Desktop app (working with Appcelerator Titanium for cross-platform goodness), the flagship Spaz webOS app, Spaz web APIs, and documentation and end-user support. Those contributing in person will be eligible for prizes, with the top two contributors across all categories received a Palm Pre 2 courtesy of the HP webOS Developer Relations team. More details, including how to register, can be found at the source link below.
