* Never forget a username or password again – ever * Unlimited number of customizable record types for storing all kinds of confidential information (usernames, passwords, bank accounts, credit cards, registrations, insurance, prescriptions, anything) * Protect yourself from identity theft, keyloggers, and phishing * Lock your data with 256-bit Blowfish encryption - safe even if your handheld is lost or stolen * Backup your handheld data to an encrypted email you can restore if you change devices or otherwise * New in v.4.2.3 - You can email a CSV file to yourself so you can import it into the SplashID Desktop. Please note that this is Not Encrypted, and email is not the most secure channel to send data, but it currently the best option to get data form the handheld to the SplashID Desktop. To use this feature, select Export to CSV from the SplashID menu. A new email message is created with the data in CSV text. Send it to yourself, then open the email on the desktop. Copy and paste the CSV data into a text file (Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on Mac), and save the file as SplashID.CSV. It is important to have this CSV file extension. Then open SplashID Desktop, go to File > Import > CSV, and select the CSV file. It is recommended that you delete the CSV file and the email after importing the CSV data.

desktop version coming soon since last year.... Geesh. They don't even bother to update the page with what bugfixes are fixed, not to mention update on syncing. Hard to get too enthusiastic about dropping any money on this, which is a shame because it would be nice to have a seamless password solution, and I am sure it would sell well.
Have been a SplashID user and supporter for many years. Have had this App since day one of WebOS (one of the 1st apps in the catalog as a beta). I was able to easily import my ID database from my Desktop version (that was linked to WinMo). However, if they're going to charge $8 for this App, I challenge to SplashID to make this app work with the Desktop Client package that I purchased for $30. The fact that I (as a long-time loyal and paying customer) have to manually export and import my files to keep sync between PC and WebOS is ludicrous! Additionally, if they do come out with a Desktop sync client that is different than the one that I (and many others) already paid for, they had better plan to offer us an EXTREMELY low cost upgrade (actually... "Cross-Grade"). If not, this long time customer/user will be taking his business elsewhere! Bottom Line... SplashID is a great, solid product. If you don't require desktop syncing, then no question it's a great solution, if you're willing to spend the $8. A seamless desktop sync solution will make this a top notch 5-star package... until then 3.5 stars from me!
Two missing features, though number #2 is only for non-offical countries: #1 @Splashdata: Why does this still not sync with the product https://www.splashid.com/splashid ? #2 @Palm: Why can I still not buy paid apps with a German unlocked Palm Pre, used in the Netherlands? This is completely legal, and I've got many apps I want to pay you for, and on top of the list SplashId.
