Sprint hours - closing early, opening early

Clearly, this is going to be a big launch for Sprint. This is their iPhone, their Storm. And so, they’re pulling out all the stops, including the one that holds back the special hours. Heck, they’re even launching on a Saturday instead of the typical Sunday. As noted by Boy Genius Report, Sprint stores nationwide will be closing at 4 PM on Friday, June 5th to set up the store for the Palm Pre launch the next day. They’ll reopen on Saturday, June 6th at 8 AM, all prepped and ready to take your money and give you a Pre. With this kind of preparation, clearly Sprint is expecting the launch to be a very big thing - so it's good that they're taking a page out of Apple's playbook from the iPhone launch.

i have to work that saturday at 7:30. I will drive by the sprint store in the morning to see if they have a line forming. If they do then i will just be late for work. if not then i will still be late for work because im going to start the line.

i did think about that. goin to Wal-mart late friday and get one of the people that just dont give a damn to sell me the phone.

My little sister knows a few people that work at sprint stores. Im trying to slide them some cash so I can get it before the 6th or have someone there to give me mine 30 minutes early.

you know i was wondering this too. I been with sprint since 96 so shouldnt I be able to get it prior to new customers. maybe close at 4 Friday and only let sprint premier customers come in and get the phone. I wish. wont happen but sounds good as hell

Nice! I get off work at 8AM. My local Sprint store is a 2 minute bike ride away.

ya. but i like getting the phone added to my bill. then you can pay it with your bill. im sure you cant do that anywhere else but the sprint store.

Just got an invite to the Pre Premiere party-in store night of the 5th. 6pm. No mention if the phone will be available for sale, but it will be nice to finally touch the thing!

Yeah, just read the HTML version... Sweet! Event is for Sprint Premiere customers. Have been an exclusive Sprint customer for over ten years, so I am very glad to see that Sprints looking after its long time customers. I wonder if I'll buy one? :)
