In times like these, it’s sometimes just fun to do something silly. So go ahead and open up the TouchPad email app, do a search for “supercowpowers”, press the unhidden cow button, and revel in the magic. And can we just say, that after nearly two years of looking for one, we’ve finally got it. The webOS toaster lives!

i'm almost embarrassed that i didn't look for this.. i saw the cow in the images and probably saw the function a few times.. just never thought to look for it

Oh, and smashing on the toaster doesn't launch the cow. I want flying cows coming out of my toaster!

Excellent! Although even more interesting to me than the actual Easter Egg is what the story is behind this Easter Egg.
how do you get that? I started the email apps, did the search as mentioned but could not get the cow?
you have to hide the keyboard to see the cow button. Now I just need to figure out how to make it fly.

aahhhhhhh! I can't get the cows to fly.
I also had to restart
to get cows to fly. I think it relates to the audio bug, when your applications lose audio. For example, Solitair lost sound, but system sounds were okay. I read the news and found the toaster but could not launch cows because they try to MOO when they fly out and since audio was broken, nothing.
webOS Toaster is the easter egg with flying cows - very well done, indeed!

I've got the toaster, but so far, no luck getting flying cows, either. (with double-taps of all sorts). I'm wondering if an installed patch might conflict with this… will have to test!

I had to restart the TouchPad to make it work, awesome!!!
They put the TouchPad in the webOS toaster and made it toast.
I had heard about "easter eggs" in games and such, but don't play them and never looked for one anywhere else. Now I know why.

It looks like it's its own app, so shouldn't there be a way to create a shortcut app on the launcher (like with the dev mode icon?)
Are you just insane? The TP is slow and buggy, the pre3 won't get any updates, and the great dev Team at HPwebOS implements such **** Why didn't they work on fixing bugs and implementing useful features? WTF??
I understand writing the news and establish the toaster but possibly will not start on cows.
