Tag Facebook photos [webOS 3.0] 3

by Adam Marks Thu, 01 Sep 2011 11:30 am EDT

This tip is only for devices running webOS 3.0 and higher

While you can always tag you or your friends in your Facebook photos using the web browser, you can also perform that task within the TouchPad's Facebook app. From within the app, you just need a find a photo you want to tag (if can be one of yours or one of your friends) and view it in full screen mode. If you do not see the photo controls and comments, just tap on it once. On the top-right corner of the screen, you will see two buttons: one for photo tags ( ) and one for likes/comments ( ). If you tap on the photo tags button, it will show any existing tags already on the photo, while also letting you add additional ones by tapping on it. A pop-up will appear to add a tag, while also filtering to your friends as you type. If you want to cancel without adding a tag, just tap elsewhere on the screen. When you are done, just tap the photo tag button again to exit "edit mode".

unfortunately, I have not yet found a way to reshare content. No share link is obvious. Also the number of times the facebook app has to launch the browser to complete things indicates to me that they gave up before completing the app. **** the facebook app.

that was a five letter non swear word. Wtf to the censor on that.

cant tag urself
