Awesome app...this should be extremely useful.

Sounds good, need an SF Bay Area version :)

Very helpful for those of us who infrequently visit NYC. No more looking for posted subway maps or looking at the map on the train without staring at the person sitting in front of the map.

excellent. instead of walking around human pylons on the platforms looking at maps we'll now have the opportunity to walk around human pylons at the bottom of the staircase, next to the turnstiles, etc.

This was an excellent app to have when I went back to my hometown NYC for Christmas. I just sold my Pre Tuesday but it was good while it lasted.

FINALLY! Any NYer will agree with that reaction. The app was buggy on first use, works better now. Its the newest version of the Subway map that the MTA has released just about a month ago. Where the grass parts of the map are the actual mud color they really are here, instead of the romanticized green of yesteryear. Also, the subway lines are shadowed so that they stand out. This, so you now its the lates map.

My comments are on the NYC MTA Subway map only, I don't care for the others present or absent.

Works best when you set up your "First Screen" so that it goes to your desired map upon launch of app.
And it works in Airplane Mode (of course), because you get no service underground ;-)
