Tonight, 8pm Eastern, we blow it up on PalmCast Live 5
by Dieter Bohn Tue, 22 Jun 2010 10:39 pm EDT
PalmCast Live continues its summer schedule, coming back to your big screen (or small, depending on your computer) tonight at 8 Eastern.
We'll have lightning round action from Twitter, hit us with the #palmcast hashtag. We'll also have two weeks of news and plenty of app recommendations for the Half-off App Catalog Sale going on right now.
So come join us right here, won't you?
(Image from There I Fixed it shows a Pre getting blown up real good, much like we're going to blow it up tonight, yo. Thanks, Gabe!)

cool. I'm actually around tonight to catch it.
Wow! Me too.
My fav hour of the week
Guess what? I did buy an Evo, I thought it would be better. I am wrong. Two weeks with the Evo, it is ready to be returned. The WebOS is like crack, I keep on going back to my Sprint Pre. I read the Percentral forum more than Android. The Evo vs Pre review was one sided.
Evo dislikes
The task management is just flat out horrible.
Battery is even worse than the Pre.
The OS just feels hacked together
The bottom buttons are to sensitive (keep hitting the search)
Not a fan of the softkeyboard
A lot of crappy apps, however there are some really good ones)
Facebook app SUCKS!
To big for a belt holster
No notifications while using the web and other apps.
Evo likes,
Big screen (a little too big)
4g
Open Mic and camera
Auto correct dictionary is massive
8meg camera (really really good camera)
The WebOS and the hardware keyboard is bringing me back. I have never had an issue with the hardware, still on my launch Pre and it still looks like new. To me the hardware is just now outdated. I really hope that a totally new WebOS product hits Sprint, I am willing to wait. For all those hopeful, shareholders meeting is June 25th. Let's all hope it goes well. I am not really expecting to see anything from Palm until mid August (after the merger). I may not wait much longer.
Phantom Pain signing off.
Buster Olney? What's up with that?
