TouchPad advertisement: Get your life on one 5

Here's a first look at a promo video or advert for the new HP TouchPad. It hits a few of the important features -- e-mail, video, video calling, the new Touchstone charger/stand (which is pretty awesome, by the way). as a commercial -- terrible. as a promo -- meh..

i really hope 'get your life on one isn't going to be their marketing slogan.. that would easily be a botch..

Agreed. This totally seems like a reveal-type promo video, probably aimed at websites, like would appear on HP.com or Verizon.com. I'd be surprised if this appeared on the telly. For example, didn't HP announce their new slogan was going to be "Everybody On"? Either way, it's good to hear that my old Yamaha keyboard i sold on ebay is getting some good use. Thanks for bidding, HP!

Sounds like they got their music from a 1990s Macintosh commercial.

I didn't want the palm name to go away but seeing HP on that video does give it a certain amount of credibility. I think your average Joe will seriously look at this in stores just because of the HP brand and then when they see how much *ss it kicks will purchase this over the competition.

It's official no more PAAAAAALM, it's now HPPPPPPPPPP
