TweetPad is Twitter for the TouchPad, plain and simple 10
There are a multitude of Twitter clients available for webOS smartphones and a growing number for the TouchPad tablet. The latest to join the fray is the aptly named TweetPad, i.e. Twitter for the TouchPad. It's a Twitter client designed specifically for the webOS tablet and takes advantage of the sliding Enyo panels that are the trademark of webOS. The basic layout is three panels - a navigation strip on the left (it can collapse down to just icons), your feed, and a third contextual panel that can display everything from websites to conversations to profiles to images.
There are actually two versions of TweetPad - there's a basic free version that supports basic Twitter browsing but not direct messaging, lists, or search (for 99% of Twitter users that's all they'll need), and there's TweetPad Pro, which you won't find in the App Catalog. You also won't find it in the Web Distribution or Beta App feeds - it's in the app. That's right - TweetPad is one of the handful of webOS apps that you can upgrade from within the app using in-app purchasing. The $2.99 update enables lists, search, and threaded DMs, making TweetPad a complete, if simple, Twitter client.
TweetPad, basic and Pro, still has some holes to fill, like the complete lack of preferences, not having notifications, URL shortening, or image uploading, but for a free app it's certainly not bad, and though basic it definitely kicks things up a notch as far as keeping things simple is concerned, even if does take more than a few cues from current favorite Graphite.

This really is a great app. Very simple, yet versatile. Best Twitter app for the TouchPad bar none.
TweedPad? :-)
I'm with Mattsmcnulty , I don't like calling this website anything other than precentral.net too. Sorry
Does that mean the countries in the geo-restricted paid apps list will be able to purchase this?
TWEETPAD. TOUCHPAD. SLUSHPAD. Who cares. It's on life support, anyway, thanks to the incompetents running HP.
Here's further proof that the idiots at HP don't know what they're doing nor did they recognize the goldmine that webOS could have been:

Is it possible what Leo wasn't as crazy as people thought?
"even if does take more than a few cues from current favorite Graphite." TweetPad launched before Graphite, I think it might be the other way around.
I absolutely love this app! Finally deleted Spaz. Thanks App development, now fix and refresh the Facebook app and get a workable NetFlix app.
Yet another twitter app? Really?!?
I have Spaz, Project Macaw, and Tweetpad. With the latest updates to Tweetpad it is the best of the 3 for me. Mainly because of the conversation thread as shown in the image above. But it also improved in-app image/link viewing as well. I have the paid version but I only follow others, I don't tweet.
