UK Pre unboxing: "As easy as buttering toast." 16

The folks over at Top 10 Mobile Phones in the United Kingdom got their hands on that hotly anticipated Palm Pre and did a quick video unboxing and overview, and as we’ve come to expect, there’s very little different. Well, except for the GSM radio and associated bits, but otherwise its practically the same phone. Top 10 Mobile Phones also has put together a gallery of the GSM Pre, giving us our first up-close non-blurry shots of the phone.

In case someone cares/wonders, the German version isn't any different except for the sleeve around the box (and the Pre itself (Keyboard)).

Time to get a UK Pre. You see how fast it turned on after the battery was taken out. Going to get one now. That powers right UP.

Okay, dumb question...I've always been with Sprint, so I'm not at all familiar with SIM card usage. But, am I wrong in thinking that an AT&T user in the US could get one of these and put their AT&T SIM in there? Or is it more complicated than that. Please...bear with my inexperience. :)

since it exclusive to O2 so I guess it would be locked for only O2 sim

and you know . . . you can't get it without contract

yet still no sign for palm pre in australia

Glad to see you all like the video so much - it was our first shot at unboxing so we're all pretty happy about it.
