Upload pictures to Synergy Accounts [webOS 3.0.2] 7
This tip is only for devices running webOS 3.0.2 and higher
In webOS 1.0 and 2.0, you were able to upload a photo directly to Facebook or Photobucket by selecting the "Upload - Facebook" option right within the Photos app. In webOS 3.0.2 on the TouchPad, no such "upload" option seems to exist. However, with the webOS 3.0.2 update, uploading a photo to a synergy account is just as easy as copying from one of those accounts. Just follow the same steps below:
- Open up the "Photos & Videos" app and navigate to the local album that contains the picture(s) that you want to copy.
- On the bottom-right corner of the screen, tap on the edit icon (
) to enter photo selection mode - Tap on all the photos you want to copy, or press the "Select All" button on the top-right to choose them all
- Press the Copy button (
) on the bottom of the screen to be presented with a dialog box to choose the folder/album that you want to copy them in to - Note that unlike copying from a synergy account, you can not create a new Synergy folder/album directly from the TouchPad. You would need to do that directly within the web browser first
- All the photos you selected will now be copied to your synergy account
- If this is a Facebook photo album, you can also then go into that album and tag the photos directly in the Photos & Videos app
You can also upload a single photo at a time by viewing a photo, choosing the
icon on the bottom right, tapping "Add to album" and then choosing the specific album you want to copy it to

I wish Picasa would be added to the Photos synergy accounts. Heck, I'd take any cloud photo storage app integration.
I would also add that you can copy pictures FROM your Synergy accounts directly to the TouchPad and you do have the option to create an new album locally.
yup.... as stated in the first paragraph, "uploading a photo to a synergy account is just as easy as copying from one of those accounts." (with link to my tip on copying FROM the account)
step back, step forward, step back step forward.... full stop
I have to say, this is not a very intuitive way to do things.
nope...not at all!
what about using snapfish?
