Verizon Palm Pre Plus Drops to $80 - at least for today 12

Chris' eagle eye caught that the Palm Pre Plus is only $79.99 and the Pixi Plus is down to $29.99. Turns out this is part of Verizon's daily 24 hour sale, so you've got most of the rest of the day to pull the trigger.

Actually, this is the second this month we've seen Verizon mark the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus down to these prices in their 24 hour sale. Make of that what you will, but we're behind anything that sells more webOS phones.

Good on Verizon! I payed more for my Palm Pre going through a third party vendor late back in November. I'm really happy to know that the price of the unit is one less barrier to owning one.

Glad I waited to buy til now. Got mine for free with my NE2, and got 2 touchstones..and free overnight shipping...not too shabby. Let's hope the Pre doesn't disappoint..

Sending my DH to the Verizon Wireless website. This may be JUST what he has been waiting for. He has been "borrowing" my Pre Plus to see if he likes it. ;)

that's cool and all but I hope it doesn't go lower than that it's the palm pre people. Another thing I know they are waiting to drop the at&t versions of palms pre and pixi before they advertise for new phone but danm I can't wait.

Got my Pre a about a week ago, and VZW has a price match policy. I called and told them I noticed the price difference. They said they'd credit my account when my 30 day trial period was over. So, anyone else who's bought the phone within the last month, give them a call and get your $70 back!

I bought my Pre Plus a little over a week ago, and just called and they are crediting me back $70. Thanks for the heads up sudarphani, I didn't know they did price matching.

I've got 12 more days before I am eligible for my Verizon New Every 2 upgrade, which will allow me to take $100 off the price of a new phone. This is tempting to pull the trigger, but I've been waiting this long. I'll stick it out for a bit longer and get mine for $50.

Though it's too late for the deal now, Verizon does give you some leeway with the NE2 date if you call them. I got my Pre about 25 days before my upgrade date.

Sadly that put me just outside the window for this deal...

Thanks for the tip. Just ordered one today. Been a bb user forever but got tired of the same os on every phone. Cant wait to put the Pre Plus to use and check out what it has to offer.

I've been timing the Pre Plus market, waiting for my chance to jump in. Deal of the Day + New Every Two + Buy One Get One = a Palm Pre Plus for both me and the missus for $29.99. Couldn't be happier :)

i ordered my Pre's over the phone so they told me i cant price match because its an online deal only. that blows

Edit: Well all it took was another phone call back. Spoke to a different CSR and they applied the discount. Thank god i read this post.
