It's such an epic fail of palm that our Palm Pre's still don't have webos 2.0! They said "in the coming months" back in October. Its nearly February. They should've waited way longer to announce 2.0 in my opinion, its practically become a myth by now.
wow not only did I have to endure the whole time of my palm pre with no voice memo app for it(aside from zcorder) but now only to find that you would have to pay for an app that's normally free and comes as a starter with any smart phone, and if that's not enough it's not even available for the loyal customers who patiently waited for this app you have to buy a pre2 or later. Palm has gotten extremely gay with this one.
This doesn't look as nice as the other memo application though it might be the same with a different background.
Still this is getting too much spotlight overall. This something that is basic on all other platforms and this application alone is basic. Something you might mention is has but never really talk about. Unless this has speech to text and uploads directly to an article blog this isn't even worth 2 dollars. This should be contributed as a capable feature that is yet to be in the phone native applications. I know 1.99 does sound like alot but when you look at what other companies are doing for 1.99 for basic productivity apps it says premium extra services.
I mean look at what your listing, its practically the information you receive on the back of an granny device. It open memos, closes memo, Deletes memos? If it didn't delete the memos it places on the phone we would be worried. Was this an option for the developer. Themes? you mean preferences for the color of the background of the application?
To say this is a "2.0" application is kind of crazy. You should have done something with the GUI. Maybe rolled the tape during recording. Again voice to text. Blog uploading ect. Nothing about this says advanced.
It says Blackberry 6 years ago. Palm (and only the pre) their other phones aren't nice enough to push this, but at this point you can the Pre is the Royal hotel the queen once stayed in and you paying for near imitation goods that they don't really sell but their trying to keep you there and pretend their luxury items. Ultimately their just saying your lucky to get to have any gourmet food at this hotel and our constant rebudtle is "are you certain we want to stay here?" Hopefully Palm isn't pushing a Hotel California Mentality to those who moved in willingly. Its kind of interesting still... we would rather have you not be terrible.

When can I get a voice recorder on my Pixi+ along with some functional office and pdf viewer??? I am getting pretty upset lately playing with my friends iphones and androids... ughhh... WebOS I love you but Please! I can't wait till Feb 9 so I can make up my mind. My wife keeps telling me to ditch Pixi and get some Android phone.
Even the App Catalog is now anti Pre Minus. Its nice that we get to look at a cool app but we can't use it because we can't get Webos 2.0. Maybe if we rub are shoes together and wish upon a star, it will show up tonight in the magic update. This is getting more than ridiculous , if we are getting the update then give us a date or something. We were promised a bunch of things 2 years ago and you haven't delivered.

Launch day sprint users get it the hardest. Luckily I've only been with Palm since June '10 so I can understand why launch day users are so upset right now. 19 months of waiting and still nothing for them.
webOS 2.0? What a joke! -.-
