Want to write for PreCentral? 0
We're looking for a few good writers. Can't stop checking PreCentral for webOS news? It's time to start making webOS news.
You should be able to ferret out webOS news, be obsessed with webOS apps, have strong writing skills, and not be afraid of a little HTML here and there. You should also be able to post nearly every weekday, too, so if you can't commit to that, we still love you, but probably move along.
Here's how to apply (and note that we will take deviation from these steps as a strong hint):
- Write two short sample posts and one short app spotlight - no more than a few paragraphs each. Show us you can be informative, pithy, and accurate, but get your own voice in there too.
- Put the posts in the body of an e-mail. Not in an attachment.
- Above the posts, tell us a little about you: what's your PreCentral username? What's your current phone? Why do you wake up every day? Stuff like that. Not too long.
- Your subject line is "Write for PC, Your Name." People who actually write "Your Name" instead of their actual name will be shot.
- Send it all in 1 (one) email to jobs@precentral.net.
Yes, this is a paid gig, but no, you can't quit your day job or even your night job. We won't be responding to everybody - we've got enough on our plate, so much so that we need some new writers to help carry the load. See what we did there?
