Watch webOS CONNECT Presentation Videos from Paris and Berlin 10

For those of you getting ready to head to the webOS CONNECT Event in Toronto, or if you just want to catch up on what was said in Paris and Berlin at the most recent webOS developer events, the Palm YouTube Channel has had a number of video presentations uploaded to show you what's been happening. Of course, for English-only speakers, these videos may be a bit difficult to understand. The German and French languages fill most of the content of these videos (we understood several versions of "Hello!", but that was about it).

For those of you that do speak those languages, you are welcome to jump after the break to watch through the relatively short presentations from developers of these regions. Unfortunately, we don't get a look at what Richard Kerris or many others said at these events, but they're still great videos to show what is coming for webOS from app developers worldwide.

A quick note: The music at the beginning of these videos can be a bit loud, so turn down the volume a bit before hitting that Play button.

Well, I don't speak much French or German, but the video second to last has am image of Warner Brothers VOD on a TouchPad approximately halfway through the video. I had heard about the HP video store, but not sure I had heard about apps specific to film studios.
Any French speaker caring to clarify?!

Just getting into it now, but the speaker's development group appears to have been working with webOS for two and a half months and they developed the four applications that he puts up on a slide at the 2:00 mark. He mentions that WB and HP are partners or have a partnership.

It would also appear that they developed a special application for a release of A Clockwork Orange (Orange Mecanique) for the release of the tablet.

So, just because I have nothing better to do, I'm going to start a thread on this.

userADgents is a mobile marketing agency that has worked for Warner Bros. for about 2 months and they have created applications for them, since HP has partnered with WB. But the overall goal of the video is touted the SDK provided by HP and ease of web development that provides application creation with html, css3, javascript, etc. The same thing goes for the 2 others french video. (i'm french so trust me ;) )

Nice find...always good to hear about new apps even in French. Kinda hard not get excited...news more news...feed the frenzy! Sorli...

For those of you who are curious...the first two (and third, but its in english) videos are just developers telling their story about why they chose WebOS and both what they've done with it and what their experience was. They basically mention that they were really pleased with the ease and speed of development as well as the assistance and great communication from the Palm/HP developer relations team.
Although I am pleased to see people who are happy developing for the platform, I was hoping to see more about what HP had in store for the developers at these conferences. Training videos, explaination videos, teasers videos...something more than just other developers saying what we developers already know. Any chance of getting more of THOSE videos online? Here's hoping...

now i know why leo likes webOS ? it's because he's german.
they like linux more than they like windows, they really know what innovation is.

So is this the right thread to complain that if they don't bring webOS Connect to Chicago that I'll be leaving the platform and developing for Android instead? :)
