webOS App Catalog appearing (in free form) in more countries 35
If you’re one of those folks that lives in a country where webOS handsets aren’t yet available, but you couldn’t help yourself and got one unlocked and are running it on your network of choice, then you might want to fire up the App Catalog and check out what may be waiting for you. We’ve received reports from Portugal and Sweden that the App Catalog, at least in its free apps version, is now available to those users, despite being in a country where Palm doesn’t officially provide services. And if we had to guess, it's probably becoming available elsewhere. Is this the first step in Palm’s path to eventually open up the App Catalog to everybody (ecommerce included)? We certainly hope so.
Thanks to Stefan and Gilberto for the tips!

That's good news for international users of WebOS-devices.
I'm from the Philippines and I've had my Palm Pre minus since January of this year. I've had access to the app catalog ever since. Its just the paid apps that we don't get. I'm not sure what to make of the post. As of this post I can see 1444 apps, I started with just being able to see 75 apps when there were about 300 or so for both free and paid.
Hello from Manila! :) the app catalog shows up on mine too. I'm using a Palm Pre +. Free and Paid apps can be accessed. I can see 4,949 on the Hottest Apps section. (OT: Have you successfully sent/received an mms using your Pre in the Phil?)
I can't get it to work. I don't send mms messages anyway so thats ok. How are you seeing paid apps in the PH, did you first register your pre + in the US?
my pre+ is AT&T unlocked. I'm not sure why but I created my Palm profile at first boot here in the Philippines
Where'd you get your phones from? I'd like to get my brother a webOS phone for Christmas (well, likely New Year now).
I live in Honduras, I've never had access to apps, but I was able to see "my apps" the little shoping bag in the lower right corner, which allowed me to update them, since last week I don't even have access to that, I hope it is because they are working on it :(
Confirmed lifted for Malaysia and Singapore. Thank you HP Palm for the early Christmast present!
