webOS Pivot August Issue now available in the UK 13
If you've been waiting for HP's "The Play Issue" of webOS Pivot for August and you live in the UK, now's your chance to grab it as an automatic download from the app catalog. Simply launch the webOS App Catalog on your HP TouchPad and the download should begin, even if you don't see it updated right away (these things take some time to download completely). No word yet on when other countries will be seeing the update, but this is definitely a good sign that the new issue is coming (and we'll update this post as soon as we get confirmation elsewhere).
While you're waiting, don't forget to read our quick review from earlier last week. Hopefully HP will move a bit quicker with future updates of this very good app catalog magazine.

I live in Texas. I got my copy of "The Play Issue" on Sunday. Hmmm....
By the way, I couldn't leave this comment using the browser on my Touchpad. I had to sign-in on a Dell laptop running Windows XP and IE8. Sad, really.
Same here. It sucks not being able to comment here on my TouchPad. Its working now on my Pre 2, but even that can be hit or miss.

I seriously don't get this whole pivot thing. A friend of mine said "Show me what the App store looks like on your touchpad" I launched the HP app store and the first thing that comes up is this picture. How embarrassing and g-h-e-y (no offense to anyone)

I live in Australia and i got my play issue of pivot on Sunday also.
The Touchpad i have is a 32GB from Amazon in the States, but i activated if here in Australia.
Its not available here yet till the 15th of this month so im lucky i have it before everyone else here downunder.
It also sucks that i can't post via the touchpad, why is that?? i thought that is was supposed to be the closest thing to a desktop browser you could get on a tablet.

Well, I have one in Mexico and not Pivot update... we also wondering why if I have an Amazon account with book already books from amazon I can not have access to the kindle app if AFAIK the kindle app is just a visualizer of what I already bought from amazon... am I right?
