This tip is only for devices running webOS 3.0 and higher

If you want to access your browsing history, you have a few different methods that you can use so you can easily return to your favorite site. Just as in earlier versions of webOS, you can just start typing directly in the browser to search your history (as well as searching your bookmarks or initiating a Google search) or search directly from Just Type. Unlike in earlier versions, webOS 3.0 does not have a history option within the Application dropdown menu the browser. Instead, you need to access the bookmark/history panel within the browser. To do this:

  • Tap on the History/Bookmark panel icon (  ) that is on the right of that top-bar in the web browser.
  • This will pop-up a sliding pane from the right of the screen, which 3 additional selections within that pane.
  • You will want to make sure the "history" icon ( ) is selected
  • From here, you will see a chronological listing of your browsing history. Just tap on an item to return to that page.

If you want to delete any items from your history, you can just swipe-to-delete them from the list. However, note that in webOS 3.0, you need to confirm each deletion, as it does not auto-confirm after each one.
