Autostart Exhibition from launcher (homebrew)

This tip is only for devices running webOS 2.1 and higher

Autostart ExhibitionExhibition mode was a feature added to webOS 2.1 (and continued into webOS 3.0) that automatically launches when you place your device on a touchstone charger. Don't have a touchstone, no problem. You can still launch Exhibition mode manually at any time within the Exhibition preferences app ( ) from your launcher, but a homebrew patch by developer Appsotutely will make that even easier and quicker. By installing the "Autostart Exhibition" patch (available in Preware or webOS Quick Install), you can set up your device so that any time you launch the Exhibition app, it will also automatically starts Exhibition. This way, if you are in a car or some place that you dont want to start fiddling with the phone, all you need to do is tap an icon.

There are two quick notes about this patch. First, you need to have the Tweaks app installed as well and ensure that this feature is activated in the "System" section of Tweaks. Second, Exhibition mode will only autostart if the Exhibition preferences app isn’t open. So, to activate it again, you will either need to close the Exhibition preferences card before reopening it from the Launcher, or manually activate it by scrolling down to the bottom of the screen below the Applications listing and then tap the "Start Exhibition" button
