With the addition of Adobe Flash in the browser in webOS 2.0, YouTube videos now load directly into the browser instead of launching the dedicated YouTube app. However, there are times when you may want to launch the app instead of playing within the browser. Depending on how the video in embedded within the website, there are one of two possible ways to launch the app. Regardless of which method, you have to activate the flash video first.

When you load up a YouTube video, you may see a little YouTube logo button on the bottom-right of the video (see screenshot). If that button is there, just tap on that button and the mobile YouTube website will launch to the video's page. Tap on the thumbnail of the video or the "Watch Video" link on that site to launch the YouTube app.

If that YouTube button is not present, then you just need to double tap on the video while it is playing. It should load up the YouTube app directly to that video's description page.
