App Catalog Sure, the App Catalog took a day off. We won’t hold that against them (at least not for now, we’re banking that one), because they came back with some pretty rockin’ apps:

  • Speed Forge Extreme, a 3D PDK game $2.99 from Ratsquare, puts you onto Mars where you must race to freedom, or glory, or whatever. It looks awesome, and is sci-fi future, need we say more?
  • VisualBoyAdvance, yes, a full-featued Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance emulator. $4.99 (by dtzTech) nets you an auto-saving, control-customizable, skinabble Gameboy experience. Bring your own ROMS.
  • Cheap Textbook Search - with colleges gearing up nationwide, we just had to point this one at. It may seem like an oxymoron, but cheap textbooks to exist.

Of course, there’s plenty more newness to check out. Buckets of newness, even. Head past the break to revel in the glory of freshly-baked apps.
